The second phase of the Leting Steel Base project plans to reduce and replace the construction of one 3200 cubic meter blast furnace, one 230 ton converter, two 120 ton electric furnaces, and one 500 square meter belt sintering machine within the Leting Economic Development Zone in Hebei Province. According to the principle of equal capacity replacement, two lime kilns and one dolomite kiln will be constructed, and two ESP hot rolling production lines, one 1580mm hot rolling strip steel production line, two hot base acid pickling and galvanizing production lines, and one 1550mm cold rolling production line will be constructed.

Simultaneously supporting public and auxiliary facilities include iron pretreatment system, refining system, continuous casting system, dust removal system for various process environments, steel slag system, water slag system, oxygen generation system, water treatment system, railway transportation system, automatic information system, logistics system, welded pipe production line, steel deep processing system, operation and maintenance system, compressed air system, circulating water system, waste heat recovery and utilization system, desulfurization and denitrification system, power supply system, etc. After the project is completed, it will produce 2.46 million tons of qualified molten iron, 4.05 million tons of qualified molten steel, 3.92 million tons of qualified steel, and 4.75 million tons of qualified sintered ore.
